Summary
This is based off of my current playthrough with my female Bosmer named Shade. Bitter at the responsibilities of the Dragonborn, she turns to honing her skills with the Dark Brotherhood instead. Everything was operating smoothly as she plans to overtake the Brotherhood for herself, until a Jester she met on the road earlier makes another appearance. I'm writing this as I play through, and there will be many embellishments as to how I wish the game played out instead. I adore my dear sweet Cicero, and this will be a very long story with a very slow build towards their relationship, with lots of pining and confused feelings.
I'll be trying to add to this every week or two until it's hit a point I'm happy with.
Also, I started in first person but kept going to third person, so I rewrote this it that way. Sorry if there's any slip ups I missed.

Cicero is the Keeper, Fool of Hearts, assassin, and jester. Most importantly, he is the Listener's. Story follows the Imperial Dovahkiin Lalailana as she works with the Dark Brotherhood. The plot focuses heavily on the slow burn and less on her actual murders and quests. She finds herself having feelings for the crazy little man that tends their Night Mother's corpse, but doesn't really know what to do with those emotions.
I have been reading some Cicero fics recently and couldn't help remember how much I loved the creepy dude. So I replayed the questline and wrote this. Please enjoy.

Sometimes people don't get childhoods... growing up is a series of mind games, abuse, and pain. The only way my brain was able to get over it was to create two sets of 'train tracks'. I'm the garbage bin for all our trauma, guilt, and shame. Then there's Shiny, the mask of a perfect child that everyone loves to see.
I had a strict routine I stuck to so I could stay isolated and ignore the past, but one day I 'came to' in the Fazzbear daycare. It appears I've been 'inside' and unaware for a year and Shiny has built a completely new life. I'm so fucking tired of this. Why the daycare?! Why is Shiny carrying around this dumb collection of rocks?! I get that I'm not 'Shiny' but does Sun really have to be so overbearing... and Moon... Why's he act like he already knows me?
