Summary
James hated missions like this. They were so…simple. Mundane. Normally, 007 would never have to worry about being stuck doing something as low stakes as guarding precious gems while their rightful ownership was tied up in the courts, no matter if a country’s government was one of the parties in said court case. But recovery from serious injury often meant a 00 being sent on missions generally considered beneath them as a sort of fitness evaluation in the field.
Or rather that’s how James liked to think of them.
