But he is much worse off than Will, and can't do anything as simple as stand for any prolonged length of time, much less join him in the markets, or help around the house. Will doesn't seem to mind. If Hannibal didn't know any better, he'd say he enjoyed having Hannibal at his mercy.

Will is so sweet after Hannibal lets Will hurt him. The dichotomous nature of a sadist and a sexual submissive is something Hannibal can't resist, especially not when it manifests in his boy's intriguing mind. Will is so beautiful, so disarming when he's sweet, so cruel when he wants to be.

Will doesn't know what he looks like, because he refuses to reveal himself, even when Will peeks his head over the edge of his bed and tries to catch a glimpse.

When one Will Graham first stepped into Hannibal's coffee shop, Hannibal had thought he was a vampire at first. Or perhaps a very fresh and particularly pretty ghoul. The scent of death hung around him like a pervasive fog, and he was so exhausted it was an easy mistake to make. Only upon approaching him and speaking to him did Hannibal realize he was a human.
Possibly one of the most beautiful things Hannibal had ever seen, but that's beside the point

Will knows he's in for it when he gets home. For a very brief moment, he considers not going home at all. He knows Hannibal is going to be mad. He thinks about telling Hannibal he's working late, or that he decided not to drive home. He'd probably get away with it too, if Hannibal is willing to believe that it's in character for Will to choose not to drive home in the dead of night out of some fear for his safety.
The odds of that aren't high, though. Hannibal knows Will better than anyone, that's one of the things that makes him so damn annoying sometimes.

There are very few things Will does not tolerate when it comes to having Hannibal as his mate. The biggest one in particular isn't even necessarily Hannibal's fault. Not that it matters. The old gods would wail and gnash their teeth with jealousy if they saw how ardently and wholly Hannibal lays himself prostrate for Will, and relishes his wrath as much as his love.
No, there are very few things Will doesn't tolerate. His Commandments are few, but they are binding, and his forgiveness is far from gentle.
