Ikuno was a logician by nature. To her, it seemed highly improbable that a part of her would twinge with jealousy whenever she caught sight of the silver-haired girl doting on one of her many fans around the campus. They were roommates, rivals, even. Rivals did not have time for sentiments off of the track, let alone strong emotions that did not contain an edge of competitiveness.
And yet…
The girl would often clench her fist and turn away, pushing her large circular glasses up her nose with her index, middle finger, and thumb, so that there would be no chance of McQueen catching the glimpses of sadness and longing in her eyes.
