There’s more than one kind of smart, and Kokoro was people smart. She wasn’t much of an Inuzuka, (except she was) but that probably had more to do with her soul than anything.
Kokoro might not remember the story of Naruto, but that won’t stop her from changing it. As a civilian, of course, because Inuzuka were nothing if not unpredictable.
