During his time in the fortress of meropide, Lyney rarely had any free time but when he did, he spend some of it watching the prisoners fight in the ring. Somehow it was enticing to see the different fighting styles and he picked up a few things, luckily so because suddenly he himself was up in there.
Would he manage a fight when the Duke himself was watching his every move?

Hawks had been in the hospital for a long time after the fight and his wings had still not properly regrown. At first he thought Dabi had burned them beyond repair but his feathers were slowly coming back, taking their sweet time.
However he didn't anticipate getting a visitor one night when he was taking a walk trough the city. A complicated story on how they fought and fell for each other.(Completed work)

Until he discovers that his heat is coming two weeks early, which really puts a wrench in his plans. But, no, everything is fine. Really, it's FINE.
