Tears rolled down his cheeks and dripped onto the sheet of paper. Though he tried to wipe them away, it only got worse as it went on.
“I have the cupcakes, exactly how you asked them to be made.
I promise they're good.
I'll make anything you want without complaining.
The cafe's welcome to you at any time.”
Slingshot choked on a sob as he wrote the final words he could muster.
“Please come back.”

There was one irrefutable truth: Slingshot was supposed to hate Coil with all of his being. The way he would constantly ragebait him and drive him up the wall at work spoke for itself, and there should have been no room for any sort of soft feelings. So how was he to explain the way he breaks down entirely when Coil goes missing all of a sudden? The one inphernal he should have despised, he found himself missing desperately. Slingshot isn't the only one impacted by the fallout of Coil's disappearance, and it's up to him to try to pick up the pieces left behind in his wake.

Summary
Another customer came into the cafe, and he greeted them as usual– until he realized who it actually was, and his heart began hammering in his chest.
Coil strolled into the cafe, that typical air of cockiness about him. He wore that shit-eating grin of his when he noticed Slingshot behind the counter– and acted surprised, as if he wasn't always the one behind the counter. Slingshot straightened up and regarded him with indifference, fighting to ignore the way his heart threatened to beat straight out of his chest and jump directly into Coil's hands.
“Hey, kitten,” he greeted with a smirk, “been awhile, hasn't it? I know you must have missed me so much.”
Slingshot's eye twitched. Just how badly he wanted to grab him by the front of his coat and shout in his face, ‘Yes, you dumbass, I did miss you!’ Unfortunately, he had to remain calm, and he certainly couldn't just up and admit he missed the inphernal who pestered him almost every day while he tried to work.

Slingshot has a crush on somebody who he wishes he didn't. He does his best to navigate his feelings with some help.

“An accident,” Coil repeated.
“You dove. Into the pool. Headfirst,” Skate's voice was muffled into the pillow his face was stuffed in. He still hadn't gotten off of him. “Your head collided with the bottom of the pool. Hard.”
“Oh. What does… that mean?”
“It means,” Hyperlaser sounded grim, “you got a spinal cord injury. You're paralyzed. From the waist down. And that… that's lucky, according to the doctors.”

Summary
Slingshot was a little surprised he wasn't giving him a hard time this time around, but he sure as hell wasn't going to complain about it. The two of them left the cafe, and Slingshot locked the doors behind them– only to turn around and find Coil still standing there, facing him. He tried to walk past him, but Coil walked in front of him as he did.
“Get out of my way,” Slingshot muttered.
“Why should I? Would it kill you to have a conversation with me for once in your life?”
“What in the inpherno could I possibly want to talk about with you?”
Coil narrowed his eyes. “You wound me.”
“Does it look like I give a shit? Get out of my way.” Slingshot shoved past Coil, but stopped when he grabbed his arm.

Slingshot's patience wears thin when Coil visits the cafe late in the day. Their rivalry comes to a head when Coil prevents him from going home.

As if things couldn't get worse than they originally were, Andrew and Ivan somehow suffer themselves and each other beyond anything that could've been expected. But at least Andrew didn't throw away that script. And at least Ivan never had to throw away the plant.

Summary
The two held each other for a while in a way that was strangely intimate. As the two embosomed, Rocket’s attention was drawn towards Sword’s wings, which were twitching with happiness. The rocketeer had always wondered what it felt like when they were touched. He didn’t completely know the full customs for Inphernals with wings, but he did remember something about touching them only being reserved for close friends and lovers. Curiosity got the best of Rocket, and he crept one of his hands towards Sword’s left wing, carefully stroking it.
What Rocket wasn’t expecting was Sword’s entire body to shiver as he let out a moan.
Rocket finds out why Sword doesn't let people touch his wings.

one of coil’s dialogues while getting a shut down is: „You think I’m stupid?“
it might be sheer coincidence but i think it’s very funny. i mean i wouldn’t blame him; if an evil white woman lifted my country into the sky and turned it into a shithole, i too would be suicidal. well, i guess trump is basically doing that.
