Summary

The man who saves her has his own methods, a cure much worse than the disease. Cleansed with light, stripped of everything, Sam loses herself layer by agonizing layer, and wakes up in the Bright Room as a mystery: to her captor, and to herself.
The only thing she's sure she's not is a victim. But reclaiming her life means dealing with a captor whose ruthlessness is matched only by how broken he is; a debt to him she can't balance against the trauma he caused; and a thing waking inside her that may be more dangerous than the infection itself.
What develops between them is Beauty and the Beast, followed to its natural conclusion: two beasts, containing each other.

Summary
Zanka finally manages to get out of the Cleaner HQ after his fight against Jabber. He immediately hurries to the city market to buy some things so he can finally repair his beloved Assistaff. Once he has gathered everything, he encounters Jabber, who claims to be a Cleaner. Their conversation is bizarre and difficult to understand, so after some arguing, they decide to go to the HQ to get Semiu’s help.
