Remus allowed himself a deep drag before answering, "Life's but a walking shadow." She'd get it.
Her frown confirmed that she did. "Macbeth sort of mood?" she asked.

That made him cough a bit on his swallow of butterbeer. Do I?
She was quiet for a moment, peeling at the paper label on her bottle, chewing her bottom lip like she was trying to decide if she should go on.
Well, I wonder about you, she said at last, and she quickly looked up at him and back down, and a tiny smile was playing at the corners of her mouth, and for the first time, but not the last, Remus felt a frightful, wondrous, plummeting feeling in the deep of his gut, like everything inside him in tumbling freefall, and then Ginny Weasley and the twins burst into the kitchen squabbling about something and Remus muttered an excuse and fled to his room.
