Summary
Katsuki grimaces as he thinks about the cold empty apartment that’s waiting for him. As much as he’s wanted desperately to come back and sleep in his own bed, he genuinely hates his apartment.
There’s just something off about it.
It’s clean and updated. Brand new from the day he got it. In fact it’s a penthouse in one of the nicest buildings the city can offer. He’d gotten lucky when he saved the apartments owners during an attack just as he was graduating high school. The family had been so thankful for his help they’d offered to let the explosive up and coming hero rent out a penthouse at a discount.
Of course he snapped it up.
But even back then it hadn’t quite felt right. It was pretty much a place for him to sleep, eat, and be alone after patrol was over. And now, after his first long away mission coming back to his apartment seems…unappealing. At least he will sleep comfortably.
Enter Izuku who makes him realize what he really wants in a 'home'. Maybe its time to do something about their relationship after all.
