There was a note in the newspaper a bit ago. Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass to be engaged.
He has to leave. He needs to go.

A loud boom, and the sharp ringing suddenly in his ears alerts Peter to the spaceship that was blown up not too far from them. A plomb of smoke, screaming, crying, the oncoming footsteps has Peter scrambling.
“Go!” May screams, her eyes alight with fear as she tosses him the controls. “I love you, Peter! Now go!”
Peter could barely comprehend what happens next as a chunk of flaming metal is launched towards him, hitting the ground…on May.

Umbridge gives them a cheeky smile, making her hand plummet straight into the sharp white cards in the bowl, stirring her hand around for only a moment. Quicker than the other two times, her hands trembling with excitement, Umbridge clicks her way over to the microphone for a final time.
“Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Our final tribute is…” With pain-staking patience, she opens the card. Something on her face brightens before looking like she tries to conceal the expression.
“Edward Potter!”
Or; Harry Potter will not let the Capital put his brother through the Hunger Games, so he volunteers instead. Maybe he gets something better then victory, then going home, in the end. (I suck at summaries)

Summary
There's a thought in the back of his head that, again, something doesn’t feel quite right. Something he’s missing, but he can’t put his finger on it. The feeling isn’t strong enough to distract him from the thought of dinner though, so his pork chops sizzle in the pan as he tries not to drift off into uneasiness.
His apartment is quiet, a bit dark now with a select few lamps that stay on basically 24/7 since he hates waking up to a completely pitch-black house. It gives him the creeps.
The timer goes off before his brain can make him completely lose focus and he shakes his head. He’s tired.

“Sorry, honey,” May says. Peter blinks a couple times and she comes into focus, her hair pulled back from her face. She’s trying not to look a certain way, but he can see it in her eyes anyway. She clears her throat, keeps talking. “But it’s…” She glances away, wets her lips. “You gotta get ready.”
He remembers what day it is, and his heart beats like a drum at someone’s execution. But he tries to put on a mask, make it all seem normal. It’s everything but, despite the fact that he’s been dealing with reaping day since he was born, between himself, Ben and May. That fear that one of them could be taken away. Sent to surefire slaughter. But now Ben is gone, taken despite never having his name drawn from a bowl, and May’s finally safe. Now Peter’s name is in there alone. The last Parker sitting on the chopping block. He doesn’t know how to be. He doesn’t know what normal is, when the Hunger Games are looming on the horizon.
