The church was peaceful, delightfully so. The organ music sounded harmonically, bringing peace to Sunday's ears as he sat inside the confessional. Today had been a day with scarce confessions, it was not sunday after all.
He had already begun to get up, just as the familiar sound of the door on the other side of the confessional opening reached his ears. He sat down again. From the other side, he heard the individual kneeling as they got ready to confess their troubles.
“Forgive me Father, for I have sinned”
