Prince Thranduil of the Woodland Realm promised himself to never love again. Prince Thorin of Erebor promised himself to never need love. Both of them are different in all the ways you can imagine, and yet they are more alike that they care to admit.

Summary
All of the dwarves survive the Battle of the Five Armies and Bilbo comes back to the Lonely Mountain with a recently orphaned Frodo one year later. He and Thorin eventually marry, Bilbo becomes Consort Under the Mountain, and the Kingdom of Erebor slowly returns to its former glory under their leadership. Meanwhile, they've also got three nephews to contend with and a Company of dwarves who can't seem to keep their noses out of everybody else's business. Political intrigue, royal headaches, cabbage patches, and hilarity ensues...

Summary
All of the dwarves survive the Battle of the Five Armies, but Bilbo must return to the Shire to sort out his old life and make way for a new one in Erebor. Over one year later, Bilbo comes back to the Lonely Mountain with a recently orphaned Frodo. King Thorin isn't quite sure what to make of this new, tiny addition to his Company.
