Summary
To Rachel, guys are easy. So when she spots Caleb Price at a party and draws him in, she has a pretty good idea of how things should go. Even if he's not around much and isn't the most talkative guy, she likes him, and she's got a plan to get him for herself. It should be simple.
But there's nothing simple about Caleb, and the mess underneath his skull is one he keeps right there, under lock and key. Until Rachel's actions bring everything to the surface, and his life falls to pieces.

Summary
“You.” The voice is corrupted, like it’s coming through a dying radio. The light pulses with the words.
“M-me?” Clarissa asks.
“You. Are the. Host. Congratulations!” It cycles through voices, male, female, a crowd, until suddenly it’s a game show announcer.
“What? What the hell are you talking about?” Clarissa’s cold. Clammy. Her skin feels like it’s tightening across her body, her lungs compressing in her chest.
“You. Are like. Us.”
“Wh—how am I like you? What are you?”
“DROWNING.”

Summary
The war of the ancient gods ended with the deaths of all four elemental titans, their corpses laying ruined and broken upon the ravaged earth. From their bones, an insatiable hunger creeps out, infecting all the world and creating the spaces known to humanity's remnant as the Wilds. Twisted landscapes of endless marshes, sunless forests, opaque seas, and windswept plains, the Wilds turn everything that walks into them unprotected into monsters.
All that holds the corruption back is witchcraft: the partial sacrifice of a human's soul to perform miraculous acts, rituals that are formed by the rare people that can hear the new gods speaking to them, binding their agreements and exchanges to the world. Some, however, take the corruption within themselves, using it to fuel their own wills, even as it changes their bodies and minds. They aim to tear down what little humanity has managed to reclaim from the devastation.
Within the Witchdom, those granted gifts by the gods — the ones marked by the wisps of the ancient spirits, granted powers over wind, air, earth and fire; those who hear the voice of Fate in their minds; those who made a blood covenant with the God Of Protection — defend humanity against the darkness.

Summary
Decades following the destruction of Arcadia, the Warded Witchdom has entered a new era of expansionism and peace. Under the leadership of Primal Guardian Chloe Price-Marsh, the Primal Core has turned the Witchdom into a coherent country with miles of purified territory, reclaiming the Earth from the Wilds.
But Rachel's creation of the Progenitor had an unintended side effect. While the merciful and kind aspects of the dead Titans merged together in the heavens, their dark mirrors remained on Earth, calling to the warlock queen, Salem. The heavens are in uproar, attempting to fight back against the Queendom of Evernight as it gathers strength in the Sunless Forest. The gods grant gifts and powers, coincidences and miracles, to individuals within the Witchdom whom they aim to make their agents. Ruby Rose and her family are in the center of the hurricane, and the capital city of Citadel is where all forces converge.
War approaches the Witchdom, and while the gods do what they can, it will be up to humans alone to ensure the Wilds do not once again overrun all the world.

They left the island. They don't know they left the island, and don't even know they were ever in it in the first place.
They don't know no one just leaves it unscathed.
[Follows the time loop-break. Alex never went to Edwards Island. No one ever suffered through that night. Or so they're led to believe.]
