“Petra, are you aware of the documented phenomenon sometimes referred to as ‘widow’s fire’?”
She blinked up at him, turning back slowly. Documented phenomenon? “What… what is widow’s fire?”
B3 whirred, downloading additional data from online. “Roughly 63% of widows note a spike in their libido following the loss of a partner. Theories as to why range from it being a method of coping with loneliness unlike what they had been used to, to self-soothing the pain connected to the grieving process. Some suggesting that it may be connected to a biological imperative to produce more offspring to continue the family line following the loss of a member.”
“That… was an exceptionally logical response, B3…”
“Did you find it unpleasant? I can alter for more emotional-based responses if you prefer-”

A hand touches his shoulder, rough. He flinches, jumping back, turning to make eye contact with red glowing eyes. A feeling of panic-inducing fear runs through him for a split second before his powers kick in, leaving him shaky in his steps, and interrupting the stream of fear radiating off whoever was behind him. It comes in waves now, shaking him every time, almost enough to make him squeal in fear. The only thing grounding him in the knife still in his arm, the pain from the stab flaring every time his muscles tensed from the fear.
Another grunt, this time not from his own throat, shook him from his dazed thoughts.
There in all his glory, was Executioner. Red cape and all. Even the crown on his head sat there, mockingly looking at Khaos. The sentence left his mouth before he could even stop himself.

His head is so heavy still so he lets it fall back onto the helpful man’s shoulder, nose tickling his neck. He smelled nice, campfire smoke and summer nights that made him want to snuggle deeper into that scent. Izuku tries to shuffle around but he can’t find his arms, resulting in him nuzzling into the stranger’s neck.
“You’re being so good little hero, I think that means you deserve a treat,” the rough hand on his chest groped at a pec, squishing the muscle in his hand, “do you want a treat, omega?”

Antinous survives the Old King’s slaughter and tries to follow through on his threats to kill the prince. Poseidon drags them both into his palace where he imprisons Antinous and patches up Telemachus so he can return him safely to Ithaca before Odysseus thinks he had anything to do with this.
Meanwhile, Telemachus thinks his savior is the most beautiful being he has ever seen in his life…
