'Softly gasping, he shivers at the sensations of this intentional, firm touch. “I—“ Voice cracks so he clears his throat. “I guess so. Thanks. I’ll be out of your way soon, Mr. Stark.”“What? Noo! Don’t leave!” Tony whines. More weight is slumped into him. He sways to the side, then adjusts and keeps them moving straight. Hand twitching up to help stabilise Tony before tensing and forced to remain at his side. Don’t touch. “Why would you go anywhere? Plans have been made, have I not made that abundantly clear? I obviously need to step up my game.” Tony straightens up and squeezes Bruce’s shoulder. “We gotta do all the three S’s. You can’t leave until then at the very least.”'

Harry has been abused by his uncle, aunt and cousin so much that he thinks that is what his life is always going to be. When one day out in the garden a creature comes to give Harry his first ever gift. It is a very special gift and will help save Young Harry in more ways than one. Helping him to escape the abuse and into the arms of the man (and later men) fated to care and protect him. Protect him from people in the Light hiding in the shadows who plan to do him and the whole world harm.

Monday night was never a great night for a bar crowd and Tony found Malibu – despite its lackadaisical attitude and flippant advertising – was no exception to the rule. That didn’t seem to bother Pepper though as she spun the stick of cherries in her pale blue drink and downed a whole mouthful, grinning.
“What about him?” she asked, eyeing over at a buff blonde with a country boy kind of look that seemed out of place in California but somehow worked for him – ripped up, faded jeans and a backward baseball cap with a white tee.
Tony snorted and thumbed his own whiskey sour.
“You have such a type,” he accused, more sharply than intended.
(Tony and Pepper vacation in Malibu where Tony meets an enigmatic bartender who gives him a lot more than he bargained for.)
