Roy smiles at him and interlocks their fingers. They sit comfortably as the boys sing songs and talk about the match, largely ignoring the two men in the background. Jamie takes the opportunity to lift Roy’s hand to his mouth and place gentle kisses on the back of it. He trails the kisses up and up, covering his arm and moving to his shoulder. The gesture is sickeningly romantic. Something Roy would never admit to loving as much as he does.

’’Pull over, right here,’’ Bucky repeated, pointing at the side of the road. They weren’t too far away from home anymore.
’’Okay...’’ Steve said, sounding unsure, and smoothly pulled the car over to the edge of the forest. ’’Are you feeling sick or something, kid?’’
Bucky unbuckled his seatbelt and did the same with Steve’s. He then climbed over to his lap, which was easier said than done but he managed. Steve seemed to begin to understand what was going on.
