For years now Grace and Agnes had a routine. Agnes like all old ladies back on earth, loved her routine and loved to stick to it. Always she would come over with something to show him a gift or general show and tell, and then they would talk for some time usually a few hours, before he would go to bed and she would watch.
So when she came over as always to watch him sleep but forgot to bring anything, and rushed their usual chat, only to wake him up in the middle of the night; he knew something was off.
