“Hey, hey, shh,” a gentle voice washes over his concern, eroding it away bit by bit as hands cup his face. “I gotcha, I’m right here, Flower, I promise.”
As gentle lips return to his quivering ones, Simon’s eyes focus back in on the man over him, guiding him back to the present.

He was cut off with a nip to his neck that made his breath hitch and little stars dance around in his vision.
“Bed. Now. I’m not taking no for an answer Ryland.” The voice drops lower, murmured softly. “You don’t want to make me mad, do you?”
