Jason snickering into a plate of hors d’oeuvres as Brucie Wayne spilled wine on a rude socialite. Robin gently placing a bandaid on the skinned knee of young girl, spinning a dramatic tale to distract her from the pain. Jason standing in the parking lot of Gotham academy, rambling excitedly about The Great Gatsby to an amused Dick Grayson. Robin grinning over his shoulder at Tim as Tim raised his camera.
Gotham needed a Robin.
But Robin was dead.
