Written for a kink meme prompt: Castiel lets himself get fucked and knotted by the family dog, because he can't have the knot he truly wants.
He'd met Zepp first, when the big black dog had bounded through the unlatched gate of the dog run and gone straight for Castiel and his ham sandwich. His owner had come running after him and Castiel's whole life had changed.
That's probably a little dramatic. Since he'd met Mr. Winchester and started walking Zepp after school, many things about Castiel's life are the same. He's still a horny 15-year-old whose heats come over him at awkward, irregular intervals. He's still stuck in his crowded, noisy house, lucky to get ten square feet and fifteen minutes to himself to desperately finger his leaking hole and imagine the biggest knot he could think of stretching hot inside him.
The only real difference is whose knot he dreams about.

"So...? Are you sure?" Castiel asked. If Dean was telling the truth, which somehow he looked like he did, that meant Dean was Castiel's—
"You're my true mate?" Dean gasped, stepping back with a jerk as if repulsed by the presence of Castiel, who simply stood rooted to the ground, watching Dean as the gears in his mind worked around.
"You can come closer and scent me if you want to make sure..." Castiel suggested.
Castiel ends up finding his true mate in a record store of all places, and with the alpha's car right around the corner, of course, he ends up getting fucked.

Summary
Alpha Dean Winchester co-runs a large pack with his little brother Sam, and mentor Ellen Harvelle. It's a rough life, the way of the gun and toughest-alpha-wins rules, but that works for Dean. Their pack is healthy, successful, and safe. Dean is about as close to content as he knows how to be. It only takes one, tiny little fight to throw an Omega-shaped cog in the works.
This story is completely AU. If it sounds a bit in the style of Firefly, that's not an accident. There will be smut, don't you worry, but it's gonna take me a minute to get there.
