Summary
Loki knew he was courting death when he decided to attempt to stab Thanos, so he lied to Thor about the sun shining on them again. He knew he was going to die. And he died under Thanos’s arms. But what he hadn’t expected was for him to wake up again, certainly not in the body of his younger self a week before Thor’s coronation. Given a second chance in life Loki decides to make a decision unlike his younger self...he runs away and hides in Midgard. With Asgard in chaos with the youngest prince missing, Thor becomes King and finds himself under hot water with lots of things going wrong. With a mission to tackle Thanos and get his revenge, Loki settles in Midgard with a new identity but the butterfly effect spreads as many things start changing, will Loki be able to plan Thanos’s demise?

This wasn't the first time Clint's hearing aid batteries died on a mission. But Clint couldn't let that get in the way now. This mission was different. And Clint knew what an honour it was to be part of it. He wasn't going to let something as small as not being able to hear get in the way.

Clint's hearing aids die shortly after being kidnapped as head SHIELD agent of Loki's Glorious Purpose. Too bad Allspeak doesn't work with lip reading. Not that Loki is going to let that stop him from communicating.

(Set in an alternate MCU timeline where Loki didn't fake his death on Svartalfheim and instead returns to Asgard with Thor. Odin wishes to throw him back in the dungeons, but Thor has a different idea. A "temporary" banishment where Loki could prove himself, just as Thor himself had on Earth. Odin, of course, added a cruel twist to it all.)
