Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)

Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.

Summary
Heart beating rapidly in fear as those claws rip him to ribbons, littering the ground with his guts as those fangs sink into his flesh until his heart stops.
It happens so fast that there is no time to react. One moment he walks along the sidewalk and then the next he is shoved inside an alley and his throat is slit, sealing his fate.
More and more murders pop up around Fontain and Chevreuse alongside her partner Clorinde to solve it, yet with minimal clues from their killer(s) it seems like an impossible task. All the while their complicated personal lives are equal if not more difficult problems for both of them.
It doesn't help that Navia and Chiori hold a dark secret that hopefully never sees the light of day. But the problem is that everything comes out sooner rather than later...Bookmarked by Oceanic_current
