Taking the books, and comics into effect the Federation had access to many friendly Klingons before 2293; Konom who served on the Enterprise, Bernie the half Human/Klingon; Dr G'dath an exiled scientist who helped Kirk in 2271; Maltz who was captured over Genesis; plus undoubtedly a ton more- so wasn't it odd Dr McCoy didn't know enough Klingon anatomy to save Chancellor Gorkon?

Summary
Harry Potter is a dragon. He's been a dragon for several years, and frankly he's quite used to the idea - after all, in his experience nobody ever comments about it, so presumably it's just what happens sometimes.
Magic, though, THAT is something entirely new.Comedy fic, leading on from the consequences of one... admittedly quite large... change.
This largely follows canon in many respects, but a lot of the more dangerous events aren't as dangerous as they are in canon. Instead Harry has a comparatively normal seven years at Hogwarts, getting a mostly-uninterrupted magical education, which if you think about it is quite an impressive feat for an intelligent dragon.
This fic features a broadly dotty but pleasant Dumbledore, Dean Thomas elevated to a coequal status of main character with Ron, Hermione and Neville, House Rivalries treated as a school in-joke, and a cast of many people who are not human.
It also features Dumbledore teaching classes, though only once he remembers to tell people about the class.

Summary
What if Harry was a werewolf?
What if Voldemort had gone after Neville (or Ron, or Ginny, or Hermione, or Draco, or Neville - this has always been Harry’s story, no matter who the Boy Who Lived was), and not the Lestranges but Fenrir Greyback had gone after the other boy born on July 31?
Let’s tell this story:
James was out with the Order that night, a few weeks before Halloween; Lily was home with the baby, because Harry was hungry and she was tired. When James got home, he was a widower, a single father, crying on Sirius’ shoulder and casting furtive, hopeful looks at Remus.
Well. Not quite a single father: Sirius and Remus had each been spending more nights in James and Lily’s house than not already, all that year; they both moved in without needing to be asked. Padfoot and Prongs ran together with the wolves every full moon, and Sirius, Remus, and James all changed Harry’s diapers, fed him, taught him to fly.
When the Wolfsbane Potion was finalized, James swallowed his pride and Flooed to Hogwarts to ask his childhood nemesis for help.

Summary
Vince and Greg aren’t smart, really, but they recognize when someone is worth following around. For a long time, that’s been Draco Malfoy. Now Harry Potter, in their second year, reveals he can talk to snakes, so that must mean he’s the Heir of Slytherin. So he’s the obvious choice to follow around.
