Summary
Everyone had forgotten that magic is alive, that the flows of old magecraft still existed in everything around them. From the land to the sky, to the very buildings that housed the new and old generation of witches and wizards. Not only was it alive but it was awake and it knows, it learns, it adapts and it will fix what shouldn't be. Especially within the hollowed halls of Hogwarts.
And with Samhain; the day when the veil was thin, it decided it was time. One of magic's children had suffered enough at the hands of others that shouldn't have touched them. Especially with the ancient artifact of the Goblet of Fire within its walls, magic leapt at the fraying strands within the boy that was patched together by venom and tears.
Note from WritewithMagic: yes I know I should be writing beyond the veil of succession. Am I doing that yes, however I had a plot bunny show up while doing that fanfic that tried to become part of that story but it never worked until Magic went "excuse me just make it it's own fanfic"
