Summary
(Another retelling of TBP 2, but this time Robin comes back)
Gwen is having dreams again and Finney won't hear it. Her mom called from some youth camp Robin Arellano is still in the basement. Not only that, he somehow grew up. Gwen is intent on finding out why all this is happening and how to help her brother's dead best friend. Camp Alpine seems to be the only way.
Finney has been ignoring calls like a pro for the past three years. So when he gets to Alpine Lake and not only calls, but DREAMS, he's forced to face reality: the Grabber is dead not gone, but it may be the same for his best friend. It's clear to him that he needs to help Robin (whatever that entails) and kill his kidnapper. For good, this time.

Loosely based off of title song.Finney has had a thing going on with Donna for a little while now and Robin HATES it. It bothers him how often Finney chooses to be around her rather than him. But Robin is realizing that he's not angry Finney is choosing someone else to be around, he's mad there IS someone else at all.
On the other end of things, Finney is so confused. He likes Donna, but he's having realizations of his own; he doesn't like Donna the way he thought he would. In fact, he feels more towards his best friend than the girl he's been seeing. He knows what the feeling is, and that's exactly the problem.

Summary
Finney never intended to be the one to kill their attacker, but survival forced his hand.
After they escaped, Finney only remained friends with Robin. He didn't want to befriend the others and constantly relive the memories of what he saw down there. He only needed his longtime best friend, but fate had other ideas. Through their recovery, the six survivors connected and overlapped in their own ways and revealed the simple truth that healing alone wasn't an option.
Finney didn't want to befriend the others, but fate forced his hand.
