Summary
Professional wrestler Gustave Monteil has dreamed of joining WWE since he was a child. Despite many devastating setbacks, including the loss of his left hand, Gustave finally makes it to the world’s most prestigious wrestling company after eleven years – but not without complication. Just months after beginning his WWE stint, his wife walks out of his life in a heartbreaking divorce.
Hailing from the elite Dessendre family, Verso trades the comfort of his family’s wealth for the chaos of a wrestling ring. His parents, who expected him to follow in his family’s footsteps and pursue a life as an artist, reject their son early in his career; he’s left with only Gustave, his closest confidant since his days on the independent scene, to depend on.
Gustave and Verso have never known a career without each other. Less than a year after being recruited to WWE’s developmental brand, however, Verso throws over a decade of friendship away on live television in a shocking betrayal. Gustave, now alone in life, must wrestle his own feelings as he prepares to join the big leagues: WWE’s main roster.

Summary
Before Maelle leaves the canvas for good, she fulfills Verso's wish to be mortal but also makes him promise to look after Gustave. Even though he's reclutant at first, Verso quickly discovers that maybe it won't be that difficult to keep that promise. Gustave's company is not so bad and maybe he does have it in him to try to enjoy life again.

Summary

The pragmatist and the artist forge a partnership: Gustave provides the logic to expose the lie, while Verso finds the courage to pick up his brush and shield the man who has become his tether to the world. Together, they must dismantle a conspiracy written in stone before the ink dries on Gustave’s final chapter.

Summary
Gustave awoke to the gray light of early morning and Verso crouched beside the bed, two fingers wrapped around his wrist.
"What," Gustave managed, "are you doing."
"Your heart rate was elevated during sleep," Verso said, matter-of-factly. "Irregular breathing patterns. I wanted to ensure you were not experiencing a medical emergency."
"I was dreaming," Gustave said, with extraordinary care. "People do that."
Verso's brow creased slightly. "Oh." A pause, and something moved through his expression that resolved before Gustave could name it. "My apologies. I have logged this for future reference." He did not let go of Gustave's wrist.
"You can let go now."
"Your pulse is still elevated."
"Because you startled me awake."
Verso stared at him, and for just a moment, something like annoyance flickered across his expression.In which Gustave comes across a destroyed android in the scrapyard. When VRS-0 wakes with no memory, neither of them are prepared for what comes next.
