“You ever fought in a skirt, Clark?”
Clark Kent glances towards his cousin, sprawled on his couch, Krypto lying on top of her as she scratches behind his ear just the way he likes it. The dog’s blissed out, uncharacteristically quiet.
“Well, I— I can’t say that I have.”
“Hm. How about in heels?”
Kara thinks it’s sweet, the way he pauses and frowns and actually thinks about it.
“…no,” he says at last. “No, I did not.”
“And when you made my costume, did it, at any point, cross your mind that maybe it wouldn’t be the most practical thing?”
He clears his throat and rubs the back of his neck.
“Well,” he says, “Wonder Woman wears a skirt.”

"What are you doing?” Eddie asks, and Buck sighs.
"You can just kiss me, get a taste of the lip balm, and tell me what flavour you think it is.”
Eddie can’t believe his ears.
"That is such a stupid way to win a bet, Buck."
“Oh so you concede?"
Eddie rolls his eyes, shaking his head before planting both hands on the sides of Buck's face and hauling him in to press their lips together.
OR
Buck and Eddie make a bet on whether or not Eddie can guess all of Buck's lip balm flavours, and in order for Eddie to get a taste, they have to kiss.

An Eridian mining crew find a human welded into a stranded ship on the surface of a moon. They bring him back to Erid, to the only other human they know.
Something in Grace's chest flickered into life. He had buried it so long ago that he hardly knew what it was anymore, and so he took off his glasses and cleaned them on the edge of his cardigan, as if Rocky's words were a smudge he could clear away before finding the will to hope.
“Ah…” his words failed halfway out of his mouth. Rocky chittered at him, a little sound of encouragement. “There’s another human? Here. And… alive?”

Steve and Eddie make a pact to be each other’s holiday date (“just friends”) for every coupley thing the party has planned because really, love is the only thing that can make ice skating (falling on your ass multiple times), freezing in the snow, burning cookies, and more seem like a good time. But at least they can suffer together… or maybe not even suffer at all.
