“Well, I— I can’t say that I have.”
“Hm. How about in heels?”
Kara thinks it’s sweet, the way he pauses and frowns and actually thinks about it.
“…no,” he says at last. “No, I did not.”
“And when you made my costume, did it, at any point, cross your mind that maybe it wouldn’t be the most practical thing?”
He clears his throat and rubs the back of his neck.
“Well,” he says, “Wonder Woman wears a skirt.”

Eddie rolls his eyes, shaking his head before planting both hands on the sides of Buck's face and hauling him in to press their lips together.

An Eridian mining crew find a human welded into a stranded ship on the surface of a moon. They bring him back to Erid, to the only other human they know.
Something in Grace's chest flickered into life. He had buried it so long ago that he hardly knew what it was anymore, and so he took off his glasses and cleaned them on the edge of his cardigan, as if Rocky's words were a smudge he could clear away before finding the will to hope.
“Ah…” his words failed halfway out of his mouth. Rocky chittered at him, a little sound of encouragement. “There’s another human? Here. And… alive?”

Usually, usually, his staff would know that just calling his name is enough, that he’s fine-tuned to the sound of it like a dog waiting for a command. But as he looks down and then to the person the chilled digits belong to, he finds Whitaker staring up at him owlishly. A shudder goes through him, senses zeroing in on the point of contact.
“Can I help you?” It comes out bitchier than he intended, caught off-guard as he is. But he doesn’t take it back, not even when the kid bites at his lower lip as if he wants to apologize.
