    “Ritsu? I heard something crash. Is everything okay?” It was Shigeo’s voice.

    Ritsu huffed a “damnit,” in frustration. He gathered everything that’d spilled, including the razor, and straightened it back up in the container.

    “Yes.” He called back drearily, still not fully recovered from the news or explosive fit of anger. His fingers pinched the bridge of his nose, squeezing with intent to leave some sort of pressure mark to validate his emotions since he got interrupted.

    “Can I come in?” Shigeo’s voice was muffled behind the door, but its warmth still seeped through the bottom crack.

    Ritsu suddenly found it difficult to answer or speak at all. He felt different, defeated, ashamed, and most prominently, weak. So weak that he had to have his older brother check on him and probably end up comforting him. Getting a pep-talk from Shige right now didn’t sound appealing, especially when he felt so small out of nowhere.

    Ritsu hurts himself, and Shigeo tries his best to be a good big brother.
