He died on a morning in December.
The light was just coming up, pale gold through the curtains, and Anthony opened his eyes and looked at Asa. His brown eyes were full of something that was not just love. It was older than that.
"Look at you," Anthony whispered.
His lips curved into a faint smile.
"You are gorgeous."
And then he was gone.
