July of 1996 marks the beginning of Jill Valentine’s professional career as a member of the elite group S.T.A.R.S, at the helm of which is her newfound curiosity, Captain Albert Wesker. Whether that curiosity remains strictly platonic or not, there's only one way for her to find out. Why not dive in head first like she always does and hope for the best? What could go wrong...
This is my attempt at doing Weskertine justice, and fulfilling my ideal of workplace romance between Jill and Wesker between 1996 and 1998 in S.T.A.R.S. I'm trying to make this as cannon as possible, and forgive me if there are any mistakes. Constructive criticism is always welcome! <3
The story name is inspired some of the lyrics in song 'The Chauffeur' by Duran Duran!

Final riddle, final blow. Satoru had no other choice but to hope for guidance and direction. Yet, he knew he would wander the mountains eternally anyway, until he found it. Until he found him.
The woman grew suspicious, for good measure more than anything. "What business do you have with him?" She asked, narrowing her eyes.
Satoru found her funny. He could never explain the extent of the business in question. I know his soul better than I know mine. I have prayed to his name for a decade. It was all for him.

“Say you weren’t Geto Suguru,” Satoru starts quietly, his voice barely louder than the breeze. “Say you were just anyone else. No anchors holding you down to some stupid spoiled heir who needs help getting dressed every morning. If you could do whatever you wanted...where would you be right now?”
(Or: Geto Suguru knows exactly what he’s getting into. After all, he’s worked under Gojo Enterprises as Gojo Satoru's caretaker his entire life. Until one day, the boundary between duty and desire breaks, and Suguru is sucked into a game he was never meant to play.)

Satoru did not forget. He didn’t forget the firm, strong hand sweeping across his back, nor the thick bicep flexing against his shoulder with every movement, nor the gentle words murmured just for him. His pounding headache and the brightness of the light through the window reminded him of the chance that had slipped away last night, both created and destroyed by alcohol.
(Gojo gets drunk and does something dumb. It works out in his favor)
