[As he passes the Pathfinder, something pricks at the edge of his teeth—an awareness he seldom feels. Most vesagara carry no bioelectrical field at all, but the Pathfinder has one that radiates from the surface of their skin, raw and unregulated—childlike in its lack of awareness. Within a few feet, it presses against him—steeped in pain—Akksul doesn’t understand how the Moshae is standing there, right next to the open wound that radiates from this alien.
The Pathfinder’s gaze is sharp on him—unflinching—stripped briefly of the veneer of diplomacy it wore just seconds ago.
And that look in turn strips Akksul of his disappointment. Because here, here is the frakiin he saw in the footage.]

Akksul knows how to trace patterns, follow their groves in the universe. By all rights the Pathfinder should just be a frakiin, a butcher, another vesagara to rid Helios of. And yet...

Summary
You had reached your breaking point with Caine. Since he wouldn’t allow you to skip adventures, you decided to bite him back where it hurt – drag him along with you. What was supposed to be a taste of his own medicine somehow backfired horribly.
You couldn’t get any peace from him. Your attempt to make him back off seemed to make him completely glued to you.
It seemed that Jax had put it best when he choked your name out between manic laughter – “Caine has the hots for you?!”

Summary
After a string of turbulent relationships, you took up urban exploration as a means of distraction and escape, only to end up in a colorful circus-themed purgatory. You become intrigued by the ringmaster, Caine, with a hope of gently encourage him to make the circus more to your liking (and potentially find a way out). But you find yourself in a whirlwind as the relationship patterns you’ve experienced may have followed you in this universe too.
(The reader is a femme fatale cartoon lady [think Holli Would, Jessica Rabbit, Betty Boop] named Dollie. I imagine her as a blonde with Bettie bangs wearing pink, but I make descriptions vague so you can insert your own traits.)
(Title is inspired by Put It Straight (Nightmare Ver.) by I-dle because it reminds me of Caine)

It was all his fault, he was the villain in this story.
What was he supposed to do now? He had no way of completing his purpose anymore. Was all there was left to do for Caine just to apologize and beg until they would maybe tolerate his presence once more?
He had to fix it, he would make everything right again.
But there was no way back, no way to undo what he had done-
Wait.
There was.

Caine barely managed to stop his deletion, but the humans still hated him and there was no way they would forgive him for what he had done.
Unless- Caine decided to erase all their memories from the past few weeks.
This time he wants to pretend to be a player just like them. Then they would finally like him, right?
