Summary
Satoru Gojo has spent his whole life being controlled by his parents, infantilized because of his albinism. So, when he finally turns eighteen, he applies for a college his parents definitely don't approve of and leaves it all behind. But then there's his asshole roommate Sukuna, who has the audacity to be stupidly hot as well as infuriating.
Sukuna has worked his whole life to get where he is, so when his new roommate skips the orientation, he's not planning on helping him out, especially not when he realizes said roommate is Satoru Gojo, heir to Gojo Tech. He doesn't like people who get handed everything in life, and his roommate is no exception.

However, he's in luck (though he wouldn't exactly call it that). The madman who has consistently shown up on the Protagonist's front door step, demanding proof of humanity, has received a gift in the form of a bullet in the shoulder, the result of a crossfire between himself and a residence of suspected Visitors. The Protagonist would much rather have anyone else in his house than that maniac (which is shocking considering his approach to people in general), but he finds himself incredibly surprised at the sudden impulse to carry on with his sad and miserable life.
