Summary
Simon has spent the last two years working for the COI to obtain a clean record after his participation in the destruction of Filament Station. When he's left on a drifter colony with a scrubbed identity and a tablet, Simon looks into ways to disappear from both the COI's gaze as well as Eden's, which leads him down what is perhaps the strangest avenue he's ever undertaken: a marriage visa.
Dr. Ryland Grace may or may not know that his friend Rocky has put a marriage profile up whatsoever. Simon is lonely and Rocky is persistent. This may or may not be the worst idea in the history of the universe.
(or Rocky uses a mail-order-bride broker to find Grace the Best Mate Ever and gets Simon)

Apparently this was all the jostling that the man needed to wake back up. He gnashed his teeth, growling, “Who are you? Where’s Ava!”
Grace tried to pull backwards but the man grabbed his shirt, “Stratt? She’s not here!”
The man stilled somewhat, “What?” He asked.
Grace regained his balance, “Eva Stratt. It’s her mission, right? She’s not here. I’m Ryland Grace, I’m here to help you.”

Just before he dies to the Blood Ocean, Simon appears in the Hail Mary's airlock while Grace is holding his crew's funeral. The crew is back at the correct headcount with a scientist, an engineer, and a pilot, but none of them were originally meant to be on this ship, and Grace still hasn't gotten around to telling anyone it's a one-way trip for the humans. Grace counts his victories in unraveled scientific mysteries, while Simon counts his in getting Grace to swear.

Summary
A combination of the Iron Lung universe and Project Hail Mary universe!
Mars was colonized. Eden was established. Astrophage threatened life.
Earth sent a ship out to solve the issue. Eden sent a ship out to hunt it down.
Simon and five of his brothers are tasked with rising against the enemies of Eden, destroying the Hail Mary, and ensuring the human hands attempting to stay the hand of God are brought to ruin. The Rapture is coming. Father saw it. The death of the sun is only the beginning. All will end. All will be made new.
Ryland Grace doesn't even know he's running for his life. He's barely holding himself together as he tries to figure out who he is, what he's doing, and how to communicate with an alien he's made friends with. Just as things are looking up, a Martian ship arrives. It looked like it was headed right for him, but then... it turned. Rocky claims there is one living person on board. Alone, just like him. Summary
Going through the report has his brain gears steaming. It's a lot. Logs of vessel depth, design and composition (iron mostly, with the other metal trappings of a human design with electrical cables), radiation output and source (x-ray and a buttload of it!), readings and scans of the biomass enveloping the vessel (a tree, of all things). More blood readings because the thing was utterly flooded with the stuff (same composition as the sample he coughed out, lovely to know and think about), and the final logs of the containment and quarantining of the vessel inside the Blip-A.
The team was coming back home to Erid, and in double time. Because Grace gets to the important part of the report. Perhaps the single most important one since he arrived on Erid.
They found another human inside the vessel.
