Danny and the gang moved to Gotham to lay low, heal. Sort out their lives now that the GIW was gone and the Fenton's had picked their side.
Danny was just minding his own business. Trying to make his way in a strange new city, but he kept getting confused for someone else. Someone who evidently worked pretty high up at WE and shopped at bougie corner stores, and really needed to answer texts from their brothers. He didn't think much of it until he quite literally came face to face with Tim Drake. A boy who shared his face and possibly so much more.

This is the story of a girl who has died more than a hundred times, which is the sort of statistic that should make you question your reading choices.
This is, in fact, a truly unfortunate story, and if I were you, I would consider closing this page and stepping outside for a breath of fresh air, or at the very least finding something less alarming to occupy your time. This story involves gods with grudges and prides large enough to start wars, children in superhero suits fighting monsters they are woefully underqualified to face, and chaos, literal Chaos, which is always more troublesome than the metaphorical kind.
In another life, one that is, sadly, not this one, Marinette might have been a normal girl with a normal life (even if it's only during the daytime).
In this one, she is far from normal and equally just as fucked. Marinette does not weep for what she has lost. She laughs at the thought that she was ever fated to be anything less than the one to bear it all.

Danyal al Ghul's core yearned to reach out of his grave and add Damian's small proto-core into its Fraid.
But it had been 7 long years since they'd last seen each other. A whole lifetime.
Damian had already mourned him. It would be kinder to keep him in the dark, rather than drag him into the mess that was Danny's half-life.
So Danny would hide in Gotham until things cooled down back home with the GIW. Easy-peasy.
It wasn't like there was anyone out there looking for him, or anything!
