Summary
Dick has set up a new life for himself working at the library and staying away from people who've hurt him, and he's not going to make assumptions about the new player in Park Row. In fact, he strikes up something of a friendship with the "crime lord" and finds a crass but clever kid with strict morals. Honestly, the guy seems like he just needs a hug. And some therapy.
Meanwhile, Jason doesn't really know what to make of Dick Grayson, but he ends up feeling... kind of bad for him. He can't help the urge to protect him from his plans, so he tells Dick to patrol Bludhaven the night he plans to confront Batman...

Bruce doesn’t exactly know what to say now. His hands hover, unsure. God, this was so much easier when Dick was younger. Every time he had so much as a case of the sniffles he would snuggle into Bruce’s side, let himself be cared for as if he were on his deathbed. Things are so different now.

A post canon fix-it that not only reunites Peter and Neal but deals with the pain and consequences of Neal’s decision on both men. In which Peter rediscovers a son, Neal is atrocious at taking care of himself, and a rock-solid brotherhood is beautifully brought to light. Overwhelmingly full of feels, some angst, some fluff, and a boatload hurt/comfort.
