So smartly and gorgeously written. Hannibal and Will are portrayed so beautifully (as is their epic friendship/budding romance!) and the way the story has unfolded is just sublime. I can’t wait to see where it all goes now that Will knows everything.
Also, Will is the equivalent of catnip for killers and it’s both fantastic and hilarious.
Edit: Also, also—the author was NOT kidding about this being a slow burn, haha. When they finally get together it’s gonna be so damn good.

Instead of getting the kid to let up, this statement seems to somehow capture her interest. She uncurls in the chair a little, looking at him with a wide-open face. “Why not?"
But he’s saved from having to answer that by Carol the desk lady, who breaks into a little half-run when she sees Daryl waiting. “Sorry, sorry - just had to step away for a moment, sorry about that, Daryl.”
“S’fine,” Daryl mumbles. She doesn’t have to apologize to him for taking a piss or whatever, good Lord.

Summary
I've lived more lives than I can count, and died just as many times.
I've seen it all. Cults, famines, the decline of civilizations, war. I was even hung once in Salem after being accused of witchcraft. Nothing surprises me at this point.
And then one day, I wake up in my body in a prison cell in Georgia, of all places, in a world I know by heart, with people I've watched across lives on a TV screen. Suddenly, I don't know anything anymore.
I don't expect to become friends with the rough redneck who should definitely be dead, but I do. I really don't expect to find a whole child who wasn't even part of the show and somehow become fully responsible for keeping him alive. But the biggest shock of all? The way my chest tightens every time Daryl Dixon so much as glances at me.
So now I'm here. Dragging my favorite characters across the southeastern portion of the country, trying to avoid every major catastrophe and plot point while clinging to what little sanity I have left. But every action has a consequence, and I don't know what to plan for anymore.

This story is amazing!! It contains everything I love in a TWD fic: semi-canon-divergence, a badass OFC who's super lovable and changes things for the better (but still experiences enough mishaps to keep things interesting) + OFC and Merle being besties + an adorable kid!OC who everyone adores + Daryl/OFC with actual chemistry!!
I just love this fic so much and I can’t wait to see where it goes!!!
