He is the kind of politician Holly had dreamed he would have been if not for horcurxes.
As Holly and Marvolo get closer to each other in this dimension she slowly starts realising that both in her own world and in this new one the connection between her and Tom Riddle is much much deeper than a prophecy or a horcrux and that she had been manipulated in both worlds to view him as the enemy.
