Summary
Okay here’s the plan:
Guns and spies AU. Mad Comic Dialogue is a team in the agency with spies and such. The H-age is on its way to being enacted. Now we have MCD, put on a mission to kill the one orchestrating this, Tohoten Otome, and destroy the mics. Everything will be in one place as they enter Japan, in a large party where only members of high status and their partners are allowed. Samatoki and Sasara must enter as guests, disguised as a couple. Naturally, Sasara crossdresses and goes as Samatoki’s ‘date’. They complete the mission with many mishaps and guns and fight scenes, before escaping with success. This takes place before they’re together, in fact, they haven’t even met yet.

Summary
He still smells the same. The thing Sasara always recognizes first is the cigarette smoke clinging to Samatoki’s shirt like a haunting shadow. It’s the most powerful, and the most nostalgic. It’s the smell that would curl up in the corners of Sasara’s lungs and burn every time Samatoki would lean in to light Sasara’s cigarette with his own.
The searing ache of love (and probably also his life span being chopped shorter by smoking) felt like it should’ve left a mark. And it did, because Sasara can feel it again, fizzling back to life in his chest.
