Buck needs to know what’s in that box.
“Oh no. I know that face,” Eddie sighs. “You’re about to become weird about this, aren’t you?”
“Aren’t you curious about what’s in the box Eddie??”
“Not curious enough to get stabbed.”
Buck ponders the downsides of getting stabbed versus getting answers.
“Buck.”
“No, I know! I know!” he concedes. “I, Even Buck Buckley, promise not to get myself stabbed in the noble pursuit of knowledge.”

Summary
"Oh my god," Eddie's voice came out cracking. "Are you hard right now?"
"No." Buck spoke up almost immediately, looking up to meet Eddie's eyes and- oh, bad idea.
"You are." Eddie chuckled and Buck frowned, looking back at Eddie. Huh? "Dude, out of all the things I've ever worn," Eddie continued, opening the fridge's door to get himself a beer. "I just have to show my forearm to get you hard?" He finally said, smiling like the fact of Buck being hard was amusing.
What the hell was going on?

Summary
Buck really didn’t know what he did in a past life to deserve this.
His eyes snapped open again, dragged toward the front door. The house sat in heavy silence, the kind that wasn’t peaceful but rather blaringly obvious, pressing in on his ears until he swore he could hear things that weren’t there. The faint crunch of the ice-machine. Pipes settling somewhere in the walls. Some sounds, however, were missing from the regular traffic. Notably, the hum of Eddie’s fan.
Where the fuck was Eddie?
