Summary
Taigen wasn’t so sure what he expected when he blinked his eyes open. The aching of wounds, the throbbing of his head and a cottonmouth were anticipated, possibly even finding himself back in the depths of the white bastard’s fortress like a caged animal would’ve been more expected. However, nothing could’ve prepared him for a pair of blue eyes staring down at him at an uncomfortable distance.
They weren’t the same ones he had grown used to, these were less round, more distinctively Japanese. So he lay there for a moment, startled amongst his searing injuries and under the inquisitive stare.Or

Summary
After the wrestling scene things gets a little...heated...between Taigen and Mizu.
“Just...touch me,” I say as I draw his hand to the flat plane of my stomach.
Shadows flicker across my skin as I lead his hand higher, trailing every scar, every moment of survival and anguish. His hand is warm, almost too hot against my skin as I lead him up, up until his fingers brush the rough cotton of my chest binding. He pauses, unsure, his eyes meet mine questioningly.

Summary
Mizu wakes to engulfing warmth, something having slithered through the pores of her skin and touched her soul, pulling it to the surface. A cry. She smiles down at the bundle of love at her side on the futon and pulls it to her chest.
Her baby hasn’t known the world for long, her precious little, only a week old. She was born a reflection-combination of all those who love her—would have loved her—Taigen’s eye color, Mizu’s ears, Taigen’s lips, Mizu’s flushed complexion. She has her grandmother’s hair, which Mizu can tell will darken with time, which Mizu will oil and pull up into a shimada with the tenderest of care, or a chignon if her daughter wishes.
