And, of course, he plans out the moment itself: the moment when he sees you, corners you, and dangles the mistletoe above your head. The moment when you grab him by the waist and pull him closer, unable to restrain yourself from embracing the bad guy who means to steal you from the RFA. The moment when you ask him so politely for a Christmas kiss— of course, he'll give it to you. He may not be a very nice person, but it is a holiday, and he did promise you a gift, in a roundabout way. He pictures himself leading you out of the party hall and into his vehicle while you follow, dazed from the taste of him left on your lips. He imagines the feeling of your wrist closed firmly in his grip as he gets you to the car, how warm and soft your skin would be, even against the cold air outside.

Summary
