Summary
Lance has this whole “incidental father” thing figured out, he thinks. Silver scares him sometimes, and yeah, Silver doesn’t know how to handle being in a loving family yet, but he’s coming along nicely. Of course, Silver is just getting really comfortable and feeling safe when Giovanni decides he’s going to ruin both of them.
Lance and Silver get away from the press for a bit, Silver learning more about his technically-adoptive-father along the way. This trip to where Lance grew up is certainly not under the best circumstances, but the two of them will definitely make the most of it, hopefully figuring out their dynamic along the way.
