Summary
It was meant to be a normal patrol for Jon, flying through the streets of Metropolis, saving cats from trees, helping people cross streets and stopping small bank robberies, the simple superboy stuff.
And though some patrols can include a weekly fight with Lex Luthor regarding ‘death to all Kryptonian’s’ or even the rare world domination plan from Starro, Jon would take the two villains in regard to witnessing this.
God, how he would give anything to never witness this.
Let alone be the cause of it.

Jon swears he's just looking out for his partner.
The Bat-Family, the Titans, and pretty much everyone else are convinced otherwise.
Or: Jon Kent develops an increasingly baffling need to make sure Damian Wayne is covered up at all times—and no one is more confused by it than Jon himself.
A story about an increasingly possessive Kryptonian, one deeply confused Robin, and an entire superhero community watching Jon Kent have the slowest, most obvious realization of his life.
