He felt wetness on his cheeks and was startled when he brought his hand up and felt tears under his fingers. He stared at his hand in silence for a moment, rubbing the tear between his fingers absently.
“Well, I’ll be damned, Blondie. I didn’t know if I was even still capable of crying after everything they did to me. Congratulations.”
