“Well, he—The prince is…”
“Like a whore desperate for some coin.”
“Stubborn.” Ser Duncan finishes, wide-eyed.
“That too, I suppose,” Baelor says wryly. “I don’t need to tell you to pay him no mind, do I?”
“No,” The knight denies vehemently. “I won’t disappoint you like that, Your Grace.”
A pause, after which Baelor hears himself ask as though he’s outside of his body, listening in. He regrets the words as soon as they come out of his mouth. “And if you hadn’t pledged yourself to me?”
Ser Duncan looks caught, his blush darkening high up in his cheeks. “I have no business doing that with a prince.”
“And if he wasn’t one?” He presses.
“I don’t know. Aerion is hateful, but—pretty.”
“Yes, I suppose so.” Baelor sighs. Aerion is pretty. It’s everything he hides behind that which makes him ugly.
“You are very handsome as well, Your Grace.” Ser Duncan is quick to reassure him, nodding seriously.
Inevitably charmed, Bealor has to hide his smile behind his hand.
Or, Dunk gets two Targaryen squires and finds himself in the middle of a bizarre love triangle.

"Don't need it. Sleep on the deck every night," Izzy says, fighting Bonnets attempts to tuck him in. Surely someone as pampered as Bonnet wouldn't simply give up a cushy bed like this forever, much less to the likes of Izzy Hands. It's not done.
Bonnet finally manages to wrestle him under the covers and places a cool cloth over his forehead. Bonnet gives him a stupid little forehead kiss and tells him goodnight, and leaves a cup of water on the nightstand. Izzy must admit it's not the most awful thing in the world.
(Or, Izzy figures out how to be a part of the crew, bit by bit.)

He’s a few months shy of sixteen, not that the press gang had cared. Or maybe Britain is just desperate, if they’re impressing the likes of him. He’s shorter than most other boys his age, skinny and underfed and a little too weak to be good at anything. He’s spent his first week aboard a Navy vessel fumbling around and irritating the more experienced sailors with his inability to be of any use. He hopes privately that he’ll end up useless enough that they drop him off at the next port. Better to be penniless and alone in a foreign land than useless and dead on a Navy ship, in his opinion.
Or, five times Izzy deals with his seasickness alone, and one where he doesn't.

A storm, the Revenge tossed about in the waves and driving rain like a child's toy, the scene illuminated only by brief flashes of lightning, Izzy trying desperately to bark orders that can't be heard over the howling winds, watching as the mainmast splinters and falls—
or, Izzy gets nightmares, and decides to fall back on an old coping mechanism. Stede helps, unknowingly.
