Summary
The Nemesis has been looming over Earth’s atmosphere for sixty-five days, delayed on its journey to Cybertron by a damaged spacebridge.
With barely a month left before repairs are complete and you are ripped away from the only home you’ve known, you begin to execute the start of a desperate plan with your new friend, Rafael. However, Shockwave lingers in every corner, literally and figuratively, and the scientist’s actions grow more and more erratic and obsessive as the Autobots continue to thwart Decepticon plans. Not only that, but the Nemesis seems to be gaining a series of nosy visitors, and your memory is starting to fail you.
Regardless of the outcome, you were determined to break free from Megatron’s grip and take them all down with you - or die trying.

Shockwave didn’t even bother turning his head to acknowledge your words, he merely replied while facing away from you.
“Feelings are illogical. We are doing this for the Decepticon cause. Remorse for a subspecies would be a waste of energy.”
A fury unlike any other welled in your chest, and you wished nothing more than to bury the sharpest object in Shockwave’s lab straight into his spark. Wishes, however, were useless. No matter how much your heart denied it, your mind spoke the truth.

Summary
Prowl doesn't need a break. He is satisfied with his new Enforcer position, and Cybertron was in too much of a disarray for him to take time for himself. Cities needed to be rebuilt and laws needed to be laid down. Optimus expected much out of him. He most certainly couldn't be hung up on his own issues and leave when he was required to solve a crisis.
A year after going AWOL, Jazz returns to Cybertron with a ridiculous proposition. He asks Prowl to join him on his new cruiser for a "vacation." It strangely doesn't take much for him to agree to come along.

Rodimus snorted. “You’re stupid if you don’t. You’re good to me.”
OR;
The one thing Rodimus wants more than anything else is to make his crew happy aboard the Lost Light. Actually, that's the second thing he wants. The first is his co-captain—professionally, of course. Megatron isn't much better. His spark tells him to make Rodimus the happiest mech who's ever lived and his frame says to just be satisfied with what he's got. His processor says to bash his helm in until he doesn't think about it anymore.
Both make it everybody else's problem.
