Summary
At first, Rev thought that maybe the vampire was going through some kind of academic burn out. Or some sort of vampiric depressive season. But, strangely, this odd behavior of his only applied to when he was with Rev. When he was talking with Sera Phim, Bella Donna, or anyone else, he'd go back to his cheerful demeanor.
So, Rev came to a conclusion. Mark was somehow mad at him.
Rev didn't care anyways. Mark could be mad at him for all he cares, he didn't do anything wrong. And even if he did, Mark had finally understood Rev didn't want him around.
Because Rev didn't want Mark around. He didn't need Mark around.
He was just upset because he didn't know what he did for Mark to finally give up on trying to sweeten his heart. He wasn't upset because he cared.

“Soooo,” Ryuji began, voice ominously beginning to increase in volume. “Is anyone going to tell me how the hell you two know each other?”
Seeking to prevent any eardrum damages, Akira answered quickly. “Goro and I went to college together.”
“That’s correct,” Goro said, enigmatic smile back on.
Akira waited to see if Goro would continue, but when it seemed no addition was forthcoming, he decided to drop the bomb himself. “In fact," he began carefully, "we used to, ah... date.”
“Wait,” Ryuji said. “WHAT?”
At an old friend's wedding in Venice, Akira Kurusu runs into the last person he expected to see, which would all be well and good– if he could just work out how he felt about it. And if the person in question wasn't his ex-boyfriend.

“So—um,” Natsuo says next, “Do you and Hawks know each other at all? We invited Hawks-san because we like to have lunch with him. Sorry for the surprise—but the more the merrier, right?”
Dabi slurps noodles once more.
“Did you…um,” Fuyumi adds next, “ever run into each other?”
“I tried to kill him,” Dabi says next. “I burned his wings.”
There’s a squeak. Natsuo’s and Fuyumi’s eyes widen.
“Don’t worry,” Hawks reassures. “I lived.”
“Stubborn bastard,” Dabi grumbles almost immediately. He lifts the bowl to sip broth. “I threw him out a window.”
“I lived then, too,” Hawks reassures before they can have another scandalized gasp. “Don’t worry. It’s how he shows his affection.”

Post-war, Todoroki Touya is pardoned from his crimes, while Hawks gains a new title: the Dabi Whisperer.

“‘Sup birdie,” he hears. The voice is familiar, raspy and deep, and it makes Keigo freeze, immortalizing the smile on his face as his gaze snaps up and-and. “Long time no see.”
(or: keigo says "fuck you" to the hpsc, gets his license, has three breakdowns, and gets a boyfriend. not entirely in that order.)

“You know what I mean. Dabi isn’t who he says he is and you know it.” Hawks frowned at his friend's words. “I know, but it’s not easy for him. He’ll tell me when he’s ready.”
“Please,” she scoffed. “How long have you been waiting? You need to confront him eventually. We both know there must be a damn good reason he hasn’t told you his name, and I think the truth is closer than you realize.”
OR
Dabi finds himself trying to master all four elements in hopes of defeating the Fire Nation (again), but it's not so simple when he's running from bounty hunters, struggling with an identity crisis and attempting to stop a genocide all at once. Luckily, he's got a very attractive blonde airbender by his side who he is definitely NOT falling in love with. At all.

“I didn’t exactly invite you over.”
“Your door was unlocked,” Dabi says, clearly taking that as the invite instead.
