“Please, I know this is not an ideal situation, but let me at least help you with this,” Chuck pleaded, causing scarlet to stop in her tracks and turn towards him. “You fucked up my life because you were too scared to talk to your sister about her destroying your toy’s, because you needed something that she wouldnt recognize from this universe so that she’d never think to look for it, binding her powers. I get that right?” Scarlet asked, Chuck staring at her blankly, a crooked grin tugging at his lips as he let out an incredulous laugh.
"Wow. Straight to the family therapy session, huh?"
He rubbed the back of his neck, looking anywhere but at Scarlet.
"You know, when you say it out loud, it sounds... really, really bad."
His smile faltered.
